Safeguarding
At St Thomas More Catholic Primary School we recognise that we have a duty of care to ensure that all users of the school are kept safe from harm. We are committed to providing a secure and supportive environment in which children can be nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential. All our staff, governors and volunteers have had the appropriate level of safeguarding training and know what procedures to follow in the event of a safeguarding concern.
We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Safeguarding Policy which can be viewed in the Policies section of our website.
Safeguarding is our primary concern, so a member of our team will always make themselves available to address any concerns in this area.
If you have any concerns about a child or children outside of school hours, please call 0300 111 8007, or if you consider a situation to be urgent, please call 999 and report to the Police.
Our School is proud to be part of Operation Encompass.
This is a national policy that supports children who experience or are exposed to domestic violence.
